Ting-Chun Liu is an award-winning interactive multimedia artist, choreographer and dancer. Combining interactive animation, projection mapping and choreography, Liu has been generating phenomenon across various events since the year 2013. In 2014, Liu participated in Taipei Fringe Festival with his piece “KiWorld,” a 40-Minute show that weaves together animation and choreography that won Liu the “Genuinely Fringe Award” along with the “Thumbs Up Award.”

 

 

After the success in the Taipei Fringe Festival, Liu founded “Next Creative,” a design and production company that is dedicated to creating a custom-made visual experience for a wide variety of clients, including consumer electronics giant HTC. Taking the role of the creative director in the company, work of Liu can also be seen on the opening performance at The Gold Bell Award Taiwan, the biggest TV production award.

 

Setting out from his home country Taiwan, Liu is now based in NYC to explore further possibilities beyond his comfort zone. With more advanced technologies at his fingertips, Liu is aiming to expand his horizon and touch the wider audience with his endless creativity and imagination.
